Harvest is a spouse and children-owned and operated company, with more than 50% of staff who are minorities and women of all ages. Kirkpatrick attributes her company’s results to the stellar client services her budtenders supply.

“I thank God each individual day that I get to do this,” Kirkpatrick stated. “We can set folks in a placement to do this lawfully, to be in leadership positions, to master about agriculture. We’re about medicinal techniques. This is an honest career.”

Harvest was granted a license from the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as aspect of a condition initiative supporting “economically disadvantaged” teams in the cannabis enterprise. The intent was to give minorities, in individual Black-owned enterprises, a leg up in the sector.
