A Chicago person, who was a Serbian entrepreneur and banker, has been recognized as the driver that died after he crashed into the rear of a semi-truck in North Chicago last week.

An autopsy confirmed that Slobodan Pavlovic, 83, of Chicago, died from several blunt power accidents as a result of a car crash, in accordance to Lake County Coroner Jennifer Banek.

The North Chicago Police Office and North Chicago Fire Division responded all-around 1:10 p.m. Thursday to Route 41 and Martin Luther King Jr. Push for a car crash.

North Chicago Law enforcement Chief Lazaro Perez informed Lake and McHenry County Scanner that officers arrived and discovered a crash involving a semi-tractor trailer truck and a Nissan Rogue.

A preliminary investigation exposed the Nissan, pushed by Pavlovic, was traveling southbound on Route 41 approaching a purple light at Martin Luther King Jr. Generate.

The Nissan drove into the rear of the semi-trailer that was stopped at the light-weight, Perez claimed.

Paramedics transported Pavlovic to Advocate Condell Medical Centre in Libertyville where he later died as a end result of his accidents.

The 58-yr-previous male driver of the semi-truck consented to toxicology tests and a examination from a drug recognition evaluator.

No impairment is suspected in the driver of the truck, Perez claimed.

Southbound Route 41 was closed just north of the intersection for several hours Thursday afternoon when the Important Crash Assistance Workforce of Lake County executed an investigation.

In accordance to his obituary, Pavlovic was a well known Serbian entrepreneur and banker who was born in Popovi, Bijeljina, Republic of Srpska.

“Slobodan’s knowledge and his variety and generous heart will be sorely skipped by families Pavlovic, Krkljus, Looze and Poulcano, as effectively as by a lot of other family members users, Kumovi, dear close friends in Serbia, the Usa and around the globe,” his obituary said.
