MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The theme for the 2021 McAllen Vacation Parade was declared Thursday as ‘ Rockin’ About the South Pole.’
The McAllen Getaway Parade, introduced by H-E-B, is the most significant illuminated vacation and helium balloon parade in Texas. The parade uses 15 miles of rope mild, which generates 1,875,000 lumens of gentle to adequately illuminate the parade and 44,500 cubic ft of helium to keep people large balloons afloat and is run by 12,000 horsepower by above 50 vans from Bert Ogden & FiestaDealerships, according to a push launch.
