PITTSBURG, Ks. — Customers of the Pittsburg community are making sure place kids have one thing below their Xmas tree.

Members of the Pittsburg Spot Younger Professionals and PSU pupils invested Saturday afternoon providing bikes to kids throughout Crawford County.

The gurus partnered with the Pittsburg Condition University scholar entrepreneur team Enactus to fundraise and purchase 42 bikes.

“We could all remember waking up Christmas morning and turning the corner and viewing a bike by a Christmas tree, it’s just a typical Xmas second and we hope that we can deliver that for 42 little ones this Xmas,” says Matt O’Malley, Pittsburg Location Youthful Professionals President.

Bikes ended up distributed to people who signed up for the Salvation Army’s Christmas distribution plan.
In the long term the corporations hope to hand out a person hundred bikes a 12 months.
