Students crammed the Launchpad of the Pupil Innovation Centre to increase and refine their business ideas and corresponding pitches.
The Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship hosted a pitch workshop Monday afternoon to aid college students prepare for the upcoming Faculty by University Pitch Level of competition.
The celebration took place Monday from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the Launchpad of the Scholar Innovation Center. The workshop started with a short slide presentation presented by Judi Eyles, the director of the Pappajohn Centre for Entrepreneurship. Just after the presentation, the group broke out into smaller groups to begin crafting and critiquing their pitches.
“It was actually helpful… It aided me say like, how do I demonstrate that this gains people? How can I display that this helps make income?” said Ryan Hurley, a senior in marketing and advertising and aspiring producer of historic wares. “And how do I do it, like, succinctly, like briefly, for the reason that I went a very little more than, they gave truly excellent suggestions on like, what particularly labored, what didn’t, so it was actually very good.”
