POLARIS, a new adaptable co-performing and occasion room in Woodlawn, is keeping their grand opening on Saturday, August 20 starting at 3PM. Positioned at 5521 1st Avenue South, 35212, the occasion is totally free and open to the general public.

Creators Required

The new place is geared toward bringing with each other business people, dynamic organizations and creators. In addition to co-functioning room other specialised features include: 

• Media home for information development & podcast recording
• Pop-up house for local small business owners to exam their retail concepts,
• Conference and workshop space  

POLARIS will be a a single-end-shop for all those who dare to dream significant and want to experience a perception of local community. 

A Woodlawn centered entrepreneur and founder of POLARIS, Alycia Degrees-Moore has been a massive supporter of modest small business locally and regionally. Stages-Moore is also the founder of ASL Imaginative Business, a plan and project management business. Her strategic method is centered on community dependent financial growth. 

“What if we designed not only our metropolis a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship but our communities as properly,” claims Degrees-Moore. “I think that with more inviting workspaces and culturally competent schooling, communities could see additional small company owners start and scale. I’m excited and motivated to assist small enterprises access new ranges and pour again into this community.”

POLARIS’ initially tenant in the pop up store will be candle organization Village Apothecary.
