Marvin Morgan, a former striker turned entrepreneur and campaigner, has died at the age of 38.
Born in Manchester, Morgan is remembered for spells in the Football League at both of those Aldershot amongst 2008 and 2011 and Shrewsbury among 2011 and 2013.
He also experienced bank loan spells in other places in the Football League with Dagenham & Redbridge and Hartlepool, possibly aspect of a two-year spell with Plymouth Argyle.
Getting started in non-League with Wealdstone and Yeading, Morgan completed his actively playing days with Hornchurch in 2019, subsequent spells with Hendon, Beaconsfield City, Potters Bar City and Wingate & Finchley.
Morgan founded Clean Moi Kid, a clothing brand name worn and endorsed by several Leading League footballers and other celebrities.
He was also an anti-racism and anti-discrimination campaigner, setting up his very own football group Fresh new Moi FC to elevate recognition all around racism in football.
Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi was amid the first to pay out tribute to Morgan in an Instagram story, which read: “Listening to this information this morning is a tragedy!! RIP brother, you can be actually missed.”
