Jim Angle, a Texas Tech alumnus, is currently being remembered for a career as an award-successful journalist and founding reporter at Fox Information.

Fox News verified his death Friday. He was 75 when he died Wednesday at his residence in Arlington, Virginia.

Angle, a U.S. Army veteran who attended and graduated from Texas Tech with a bachelor of arts degree in political science in 1969, later went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin, the place he gained his master of arts degree in Latin American Scientific tests, in accordance to Fox.

Curt Langford, president and CEO of the Texas Tech Alumni Association, shared a message praising Angle for his contributions to the college and representing Tech on a nationwide phase.

“The Texas Tech Alumni Association was saddened to study of Jim Angle’s passing,” Langford wrote. “He was an achieved journalist and broadly recognised for his operate as a White Property correspondent covering earlier presidents and administrations. He was a well-highly regarded newsman and a Distinguished Alumnus who represented Texas Tech proudly. He was a person of us.”
