OLDS — Ag entrepreneur and creator Robert Saik has donated $100,000 to Olds School.

The funds will be applied to produce an endowment fund for the Robert Saik AgTech awards: two $2,500 scholarships for each calendar year supporting students from city regions enrolled in the Agriculture Know-how plans at Olds School.  

That builds on a different Saik scholarship that supports rural pupils entering agriculture at the College of Alberta.  

The inaugural Rob Saik AgTech awards will be distributed in January 2023.   

Saik, the CEO of AGvisorPRO, gave the keynote deal with in the course of Olds College’s 2019 AgSmart exhibition on the long run of farming.
