DEL MAR, Calif. – Craig Dado, a member of the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club’s executive staff for the past 20 several years, is leaving the organization to pursue other opportunities.

Dado, 54, a Northern California native who found a career in the racing market in Southern California, has been a Del Mar executive vice president and its main marketing and advertising officer given that 2013. He had joined the organization in 2001 as vice president of advertising and marketing, then in 2010 was named senior vice president right before assuming his recent position.

Prior to coming on board at Del Mar, Dado experienced begun his racing career at Santa Anita Park in 1991 in which he worked his way up to develop into the track’s vice president for marketing.

“Craig has been a reliable contributor to our initiatives at Del Mar more than the earlier two decades,” claimed Joe Harper, DMTC’s CEO. “His intelligence and instincts in the internet marketing small business helped Del Mar rise up in the racing business and for that we’ll be permanently grateful. We would like him very little but nicely as he moves on to other issues.”

Dado oversaw the track’s thriving tactics to woo young admirers as a result of the use of new music and foods and drink festivals. He spearheaded the track’s “branding” endeavours by its blue and yellow diamonds coloration themes and its “Cool as Ever” marketing and advertising and marketing programs.

“Working at Del Mar has been a dream job for about 20 decades. I can not thank Joe Harper and the excellent persons there sufficient,” claimed Dado. “I’m going to overlook it, but I have an option to operate my very own business enterprise, which has been a goal of mine for several years. I really feel like the timing is proper.”

He grew up in Petaluma close to San Francisco and attained a diploma in business enterprise from the University of California, Berkeley as well as a Master’s degree from the College of California, Los Angeles. He is the father of two daughters and a son.
