Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice experienced some jokes for Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., all through a Thursday evening meal. 

Rice was honored as the Keynote Speaker at The 76th Annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Basis Supper. Whilst most of her speech revolved close to honoring the Al Smith Foundation and its charitable acts, she also shared some jokes regarding some notable Democrats.

In 1 of several jabs, she mocked Ocasio-Cortez’s infamous “Tax the Prosperous” gown, joking that today men and women expect even attire to have political statements.

“I’m a California Republican, not a New York congresswoman, so ‘Tax the Rich’ was not going to function for me,” Rice reported.

Through the speech, she also referenced Gov. Newsom’s eating out at the French Laundry inspite of his possess coronavirus directives, a decision that determined recall initiatives versus him.

“I haven’t found this several wine glasses considering the fact that Newsom’s eating at the French Laundry,” Rice said.

At last, she also acknowledged former New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo subsequent his disgraceful resignation from place of work.
