A new not-for-gain business has been established to aid folks in need in the Black Belt.

The Black Belt Community Advancement Corporation is the brainchild of entrepreneur Darnelle Howell, who was born and elevated in the Black Belt.

“We’re a 501c(3) developed to assistance and revitalize impoverished and undeserved communities, specifically those people with reduced and unskilled labor,” Howell mentioned. “Our mission is to be concerned in a extensive array of community providers like training emphasizing literacy and fiscal security, career education, voter registration, health treatment and psychological health methods.”
