Baltimore Entrepreneurship Team To Aid Award $2M in Grants to Black Woman Organization House owners – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) — A Baltimore entrepreneurship group has announced that it is taking part in a small business grant program that will award $2 million to black female business enterprise proprietors.

The Women of all ages Entrepreneur Leadership Lab, also acknowledged as the Well, is joining Reimagine Main Avenue to award the Backing Black Company grant method funding in income grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 to a lot more than 200 black females business owners. 

The grant project also has assistance from Meta, the mum or dad corporation of Fb.

“This is big,” said Nakeia Drummond, founder of the Perfectly. “We’re truly excited about the approach to this which is to bring all those grants into and set them in the fingers of companies that are operating for and with black women of all ages each and every day.”

Drummond’s corporation has been helping black ladies navigate the troubles of building and developing a little organization due to the fact 2018.
