Afghan Woman Entrepreneur Watches Her Companies Collapse

An Afghan female small business owner explained that functions at her manufacturing facility and other tasks have halted as current market desire has decreased subsequent the recent political improvements that are impacting the economy of Afghanistan.  

Karima Rahimyar, an entrepreneur, stated she invested in a stitching factory and mushroom-rising. But as the previous federal government collapsed, she claimed that her business enterprise has shut down. At least 30 female employees worked in the sewing manufacturing facility, but all of them are jobless now.  

“The slide of the governing administration took all the things from me. I missing my job. I was head of an firm, but I am not anymore. Our group was functioning to guidance women,” she said.   

Rahimyar explained that she had 20 women of all ages performing in the mushroom enterprise for her.  

“Due to the adjustments that transpired, individuals who were obtaining the mushrooms stopped their activities and I couldn’t get mushroom seeds,” she mentioned.  

Rahimyar has been doing work as an entrepreneur for 11 decades.
