CARLISLE, Pa. — When Stephanie Beeman resolved that the business office existence was no for a longer period for her, she established out to figure out what sort of organization she needed to have.

Then it hit her — cheese.

In the fall of 2019, Beeman opened her business enterprise, Central Wedge Cheese Store.

Her journey to possessing a cheese store begun when she was just a child with close friends and relatives members proudly owning dairy cows.

“I learned that I truly, seriously loved the dairy business,” Beeman claimed.

She also grew up in her family’s bakery, Beeman’s Baked Items, which motivated her curiosity in farm-to-table.

“The tie from the farm to the products that you can make with milk, cheese, butter, was often really exciting to me,” she said.

Beeman doesn’t make any of the cheeses Central Wedge sells, but all of the cheeses in her inventory are from Pennsylvania cheesemakers. She has about 25 to 30 cheese kinds for sale at all instances.
