Puttur rural law enforcement arrested two rowdy sheeters for allegedly extorting dollars from an entrepreneur.

The arrested rowdy sheeters had been discovered as Kalander Sharief alias Shafi, a resident of Golthamajalu in Bantwal, and Hasanabba alias Hasan alias Acchu alias Achun, a resident of Manjanady in Mangaluru taluk.

DK Superintendent of Police Rishikesh Sonawane claimed that the rowdy sheeters experienced contacted an entrepreneur from Puttur and experienced put a demand of Rs 13 lakh in purchase to launch their associate who was at the rear of bars.

The rowdy sheeters experienced applied different mobile cellphone figures to make the extortion phone calls and issued threats warning him of dire repercussions for failing to pay back the dollars. The duo experienced directed the entrepreneur to prepare Rs 3.5 lakh within just two times. They even had threatened to kill him and his little ones if he failed to arrange the dollars, stated the SP.
