Worthington Metropolis Council denies Lifestyle Communities’ rezoning ask for to redevelop previous UMCH website

Lifestyle Communities’ proposal to redevelop the previous United Methodist Children’s Home site at 1033 N. Large St. into a mixed-use household and commercial progress was rejected by Worthington Town Council, putting the long run of the challenge in doubt again. 

Town Council on Dec. 13 voted unanimously versus Lifestyle’s third proposal since 2015 to rezone the UMCH web-site to a prepared-device-improvement designation, which would have cleared the way for the challenge to go forward.
