Wintry weather conditions, COVID brings about journey issues on the road and in the air

Traveling on both equally the floor and the sky is finding trickier for travelers.

Airlines continue on to cancel flights thanks to an improve in pilots and personnel calling out unwell because of to COVID-19.

These who did make it to their place felt lucky to get there.

“A large amount of persons had been warning me about cancellations and the long waits,” states East Hampton resident Teresa Eldi. “It is really certainly a relief to get to your closing location.”

Monday’s snowstorm in the Mid-Atlantic also left hundreds of automobiles stranded in Virginia on the I-95.

Northport resident MaryAnn Lertora says the predicament was “terrible.”

“The roadways were being icy,” Lertora says. “You can see the black ice on the road.”

Lertora says they then received stuck on a packed Amtrak that ran out of foods.

The interstate has been cleared and folks are again on their way house.

Airlines are reminding tourists to continue checking on the status of their flights.
