MARQUETTE, Mich. (WJMN) – A holiday custom will make its return to Marquette to start the thirty day period of December.

The 11th Winter Snow Enjoyment Holiday Parade and 46th Tree Lights Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, December 2 in Marquette. The parade commences at 6 p.m. on Honest Avenue and carries on along North 3rd Road and ending in Marquette Commons.

Marquette Commons is also the site of the tree lights ceremony, which follows the parade at 7 p.m.

The United States Postal Company will be accumulating letters to Santa alongside the parade route. Letters should contain a return address so that Santa can write back.
