Snow in the better elevations all around Redding on Wednesday early morning has prompted driving limits on North Condition highways and disrupted faculty schedules.

Traffic  on Interstate 5 is being screened and semi trucks had been staying turned close to at the Fawndale exit because of to snowy circumstances farther north on the freeway, the California Department of Transportation stated Wednesday morning.

But Caltrans lifted the restriction on significant rigs around 10:30 a.m. and permitted them to journey the freeway north of Redding if they have chains.

Caltrans highway cameras display that snow is falling in Dunsmuir in Siskiyou County.
