Who’s in Law Firms’ Incident Response Workouts? Not Marketing and advertising, HR or CFOs

Legal professionals may counsel their clientele to perform incident response desk-prime workouts to put together for probable cyberattacks, but according to a current International Legal Engineering Association (ILTA) study, companies are not working towards what they’re preaching.

According to ILTA’s 2021 Engineering Study, 62% of its 454 regulation company respondents mentioned their agency did not carry out incident reaction desk-top physical exercises. Of those conducting table-prime exercises, most (82%) said their IT or security office was involved, though 60% mentioned that the firm’s management or government committee participates with IT and the protection office. But only 26% stated all departments participated in the firm’s incident reaction desk-leading workouts.
