I see a little bit of blue sky on Sunday afternoon as I produce this, but I experience like this thirty day period has ongoing to be ridiculously chilly and grey. I know there have been worse (colder) Januarys, but not long ago I don’t appear to be equipped to heat up no make a difference how substantial I crank the warmth in the house.
I really went out for a operate on Saturday early morning. I may well have been tempted to wimp out, other than that I informed my managing buddy, Laurie, that I would run with her, and we had planned it for late morning when it was *meant* to have warmed up a bit. The wind, on the other hand, was still whipping and it was about 14 degrees, but the moment we bought likely it was not too negative and it was a good chance to capture up and get some exercise at the same time.
It’s a fantastic factor I run, and also that I did System Pump and a couple HIIT classes this 7 days, mainly because scroll down to see what I have been taking in!

On Thursday early morning, while it was even now snowing, I spied 3 or four robins hopping around on the patio outdoors my residence business office window, and decided that the chook conundrum needed to be tweeted (negative pun, I know).
Not pretty comprehension 1. Why there are robins hanging all around in January in Connecticut and 2. Why they feel to be obtaining a fantastic time in the snow on my patio. (I need to say “were” mainly because the dog just chased them absent) #WestHartford#Snowpic.twitter.com/gUjHZNDW3K

None other than esteemed meteorologist Bob Maxon chimed in, and though I am sad that the sighting of robins will no more time have me eagerly anticipating springtime currently being right around the corner, this is really attention-grabbing details!
Robins are yr close to inhabitants listed here in CT, normally along the shoreline! They *may* be possessing a grand time since the berries they eat for power may perhaps be fermented. Drunk birds are a issue!!
