Virginia Tech updating COVID-19 testing policy thanks to wintertime storm likelihood

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – Virginia Tech will allow for college students to submit damaging COVID-19 checks through January 17 due to the risk of a winter storm, in accordance to the college.

The transform extends a 72-hour prerequisite and permits extra versatility for pupils to transfer back again into residence halls.

Learners can go in ahead of or right after the storm. Returning learners can arrive as early as Jan. 14 at midday.

Students can also arrive again on Jan. 17, but most college places of work will be shut for Martin Luther King Jr. working day.

The university is inquiring any person traveling back to Blacksburg to verify climate and road situations and program appropriately.
