BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – On Monday, Virginia Tech officers spoke about the fatal capturing that took place in downtown Blacksburg on Friday evening.

Virginia Tech officers say they are grateful for the speedy response from regulation enforcement companies.

A spokesperson from the university reported in this problem the VT alerts worked.

He said the goal of the alerts is to convey to people today that there is a harmful scenario.
