Xmas Trees About the Square
This yr marks the 28th anniversary of Xmas Trees About the Sq. in Inverness. 20 trees, each representing one of the nonprofits or service corporations in Citrus County, will glow all through the holiday getaway period.
They will be put up and embellished by Santa’s elves at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27. The public is welcome to enhance with the Citrus County Historical Culture and museum team.
This year’s tree lighting ceremony will be a thing special. The historic culture is keeping a no cost holiday getaway concert with Greta Pope from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Outdated Courthouse Heritage Museum, 1 Courthouse Sq. in Inverness.
The live performance is meant to spread holiday cheer and thank the local community for their continued aid of the culture and the museum. Greta Pope and her trio will conduct the holiday version of the Good American Songbook.

Fishing club to have Christmas dinner
The Beverly Hills Fishing Club will have their Xmas Evening meal on Dec. 11 at the Citrus Hills Nation Club.
