Venezuela promises Guinness Planet Record for biggest orchestra

CARACAS, Nov 20 (Reuters) – Venezuela’s National Process of Youth and Children’s Orchestras – known as “El Sistema” – has established a new Guinness record for the world’s largest orchestra with 8,573 musicians actively playing together, the country’s authorities reported on Saturday.
