LIVERPOOL, England, Dec 11 (Reuters) – The United States will send out its prime diplomat for Europe to Russia and Ukraine to focus on Russia’s troop construct up and reiterate U.S. determination to Ukraine’s sovereignty, the State Department mentioned on Saturday.
“Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Dr. Karen Donfried will vacation to Kyiv, Ukraine and Moscow, Russia December 13-15 to satisfy with senior authorities officials to discuss Russia’s army buildup and to reinforce the United States’ motivation to Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity,” the division reported.
“Donfried will emphasize that we can make diplomatic progress on ending the conflict in the Donbas via implementation of the Minsk agreements in guidance of the Normandy Format.”
