Through Upson-Lee PreK orientation, customers of the Thomaston-Upson Arts Council took to the phase at Upson-Lee Fine Arts Heart to tease the Junior Summer months Theater Program’s approaching participate in, “The Wizard of Oz.”
Dependent on the children’s novel by L. Frank Baum, “The Superb Wizard of Oz,” TUAC invitations the audience to just take a journey with Dorothy and Toto into the land of Oz.
The cast performed a segment of the clearly show, in which Dorothy satisfies Glenda, the Fantastic Witch, and the munchkins of Munchkin Metropolis. The cast also executed the musical number, “Ding Dong, the Witch is Useless.”
TUAC will execute the present in its entirety Aug. 5 through Aug. 7. General performance times are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m., according to TUAC Producer Carmen Ellerbee.
