BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – All across the nation several people have witnessed their vacation flights either canceled or delayed, and it’s no unique in Bay County.

Several folks who ended up hoping to make it to the beach front for Xmas, ran into some hiccups as they traveled into Northwest Florida Seashores International Airport.

The Thyen Family ran into this concern as they traveled in from Minnesota.

Whilst they had been equipped to make it to the beach front, the process to get below absolutely took more time than they expected.

”It’s been all right for the most aspect. Except for our flight modify and instead of possessing a a few-hour delay in Charlotte, NC. Turned into about a 6-hour delay, a few of it, I necessarily mean two of it was planned. And then we experienced a hold off due to the fact there had been servicing difficulties on the plane. And it delayed us another hour,” Sarah Thyen, traveling from Minneapolis, MN, said.

Thyen says she and her household left their lodge in Minnesota all over 3:30 Saturday morning.

They did not arrive at Northwest Florida Beaches Global right until all around 5 that evening.
