Town of Huntersville’s ‘Week of Fun’ kicks off Monday

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) – All through this to start with 7 days of August, the Town of Huntersville Parks and Recreation is partnering with the Huntersville Police Section, Huntersville Fireplace Office, and Huntersville Presbyterian Church to set on a entire slate of things to do for the community to enjoy.

The festivities run Aug. 1-5, and will offer enjoyable for all ages.

On Monday, Aug. 1, ‘Move it Monday’ will take to Veterans Park from 10-11 a.m. for out of doors exciting and workout.

On Tuesday, Aug. 2, ‘Teen Throwback Tuesday’ will dedicate the night to the nearby youngsters, will host Heroes in a 50 percent Shell Struggle of the Bands, and will conclude the night having pizza and popcorn though looking at ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ at Veterans Park.

The bands will participate in from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and the movie will get started at 9 p.m.
