TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A Topeka man was arrested just after a K9 discovered him allegedly trying to rob a community enterprise early Saturday early morning.
The Shawnee Co. Sheriff’s Office environment says Aaron T. Nelson, 44, of Topeka, has been arrested just after a K9 found him hiding through an alleged theft to a small business in the 5200 block of SW Topeka Blvd. early Saturday early morning.
Just ahead of 12 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, the Sheriff’s Business said Dispatch was notified of an alarm sounding at a neighborhood small business. When deputies arrived, they claimed they uncovered a car hidden involving bags of mulch and the fence to the outdoor garden of the business enterprise. The metal fence had sustained harm which permitted Nelson to enter the small business.
When extra models arrived, the Sheriff’s Business mentioned deputies and a K9 observed Nelson in the lawn of the business. Movie surveillance had revealed only one particular suspect on the house.
Immediately after additional investigation, officials mentioned Nelson was arrested and booked into the Shawnee Co. Dept. of Corrections for theft, theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and legal problems to residence.
