GROTON, N.Y. (WETM) – Just after a 12 months of investigation, a Tompkins County lady has been arrested for stealing 1 million dollars and making an attempt to protect it up, according to Condition Police.
Jeanne Parr, 53, was arrested on December 6 just after a 12 months-lengthy investigation by New York State Police.
NYSP mentioned the owner of JD Ferro Roofing in Cortland very first noted that Parr had been thieving dollars from the firm for various several years. The investigation identified that she had stolen more than just one million dollars from the roofing company and falsified small business information in an endeavor to go over up the theft.
Parr was charged with 1st-degree Grand Larceny (a class-B felony) and initial-degree Falsifying Company Information (a course-E felony).
She was transported to the Cortland County Jail awaiting Centralized Arraignment.
