The playground at Thompson Park in Lompoc is closed though repairs are currently being designed to the composition.

A slide at the park is weakened, as is the climbing apparatus.

At present, the playground spot at Thompson Park is fenced off for the community’s protection, and city parks and rec workers are inquiring that local community associates continue to be outside the fenced-in area.

Metropolis staff members is not equipped to estimate at this time when the playground will reopen for the public’s use, but will provide that facts as before long it is out there.
