Janneke Parrish took to Twitter to doc a testimonial that narrates that her employer let her go just after she asked a male coworker to prevent interrupting her when she was addressing a conference.
“I shed my job since I spoke to a gentleman the way adult men converse to me,” she explained in her initial tweet in a collection of tweets, including, “This is why ladies depart the tech marketplace.”
She goes on to narrate the incidents that led to her ordeal in just the business that fired her. “A pair weeks back, a male colleague manufactured modifications to a job I was working although I was offline that substantially impacted the scope and timelines. I asked to talk to him to recognize why and how we could established up a way to fix troubles in the long term,” she said.
