A snowstorm still left about 25 IKEA employees and six buyers stranded overnight at an Ikea store in Aalborg, Denmark.

Following 12 inches of snow promptly fell, people trapped inside the retail store had an impromptu sleepover on Wednesday evening.

“It was a as soon as in a life span experience,” IKEA’s shop manager Peter Elmose advised Insider. “I have been functioning in IKEA, and I have in no way seasoned this ahead of.” 

Elmose stated the group spent the evening seeing Tv, actively playing card games, and eating food stuff in the employees cafeteria, just before retiring to mattress in the showroom displays.

He explained they brought in sofas from the living space part and watched Christmas motion pictures and a Liverpool-Everton soccer match applying a big projector.

“We experienced some hot cinnamon buns, incredibly hot chocolate, and coffee. There was even some beer,” explained Elmose.
