In pre-pandemic many years, Thanksgiving Eve could be counted on as the busiest night of the year for bars.

Possibly we’ll see a return to that Wednesday, with Beaver Valley nightspots offering a lot of entertainment the evening before Stuffing Working day (or “Turkey Working day” as several of you phone it.)

Some of your Nov. 24 entertainment choices:

• The Job Band, 8 p.m., Beaver Falls Turners.

The hard-performing rock band will play handles, it’s possible a number of originals and some Christmas songs, joined by guest musician “Southside” Jerry Melix on the saxophone and flute. The go over is $5 for non-users.

• Acoustic Soul plays Robert’s Roadside Inn, Bridgewater at 8 p.m.

Acoustic Soul options vocalist-guitarist Mickey Cherico, a valley beloved for years with Casanova, and his daughters, vocal powerhouses Alexandra and Valentina Cherico.

Valentina will launch her new single, “Lifted Me,” on Dec. 3.

“This is my music of inspiration and prayer to anyone who requires their spirits lifted for the holiday seasons,” she explained on Instagram.

• Tony Barge and The Honky Tonk Heroes, 7 p.m. Rochester VFW Put up 128.

Foot-stomping classic region, Southern rock and a couple surprises from the Ellwood City-based band I raved about two months ago. You can find no protect cost, and all are welcome.

• Zig Daniels, 6 p.m. at Thursdays cafe in Bridgewater.

Count on all the things from ’90s rock to modern-day country to 2000s substitute to contemporary pop from the venerable showman who will blend acoustic participating in and deejaying.
