“Tank taxi” presents exciting and unique rides — while not the smoothest

There are lots of taxi providers to decide on from these times, but a British man has cornered the market when it comes to “large” lifts. Merlin Batchelor rumbles down the streets of Norwich, England in a “tank taxi.”

It may not have the smoothest experience, but it delivers “pure enjoyment. As you travel together the road, you will find so a lot of people smiling, laughing, pointing,” Batchelor states.

And it just isn’t basically a tank.

“Technically it isn’t — it can be an armored staff provider,” Batchelor says. But “tank taxi” just rolls of the tongue greater and they search equivalent.

Batchelor purchased it on line “as you do with every thing these days,” he says. The invest in and repairs established him back again about $35,000.

Then requests for rides commenced rolling in.
