Customers of Taiton SPJST Lodge 30 and El Campo-Hillje Lodge 40 youth club came residence with awards from the condition SPJST Youth Achievement Working day held Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Frank Mayborn Convention Middle in Temple, Texas. The Masters of Ceremonies at the event were Melanie Zavodny, President of Communications April Dvorak, 2017 Point out Queen Kelly Home, 2018 Condition Queen Caleb See, 2021 State King and Megan Ohnheiser, 2021 State Queen. The celebration was under the path of Frank Horak, Condition Youth Director.
Condition YAD is held per year and includes levels of competition amongst the initially location winners from seven districts throughout Texas. Taiton Lodge 30 and El Campo-Hillje Lodge 40 are members of District 6.
The youth expended a majority of the summer perfecting their talent performances, planning crafts, and creating and placing alongside one another the club scrapbook.
Saturday started with registration from 8:45 -9:45 a.m. in all groups together with crafts, talent, Royalty, Beseda and scrapbook.
Opening ceremonies begun with a welcome from Brian Vanicek, Supreme Lodge President, a presentation of flags by Grant Bubela and Bethany Baker of Lodge 30, Taiton. The countrywide anthem was sung by Macy Narro. The invocation was presented by Delisle Doherty, SPJST Vice President. Team and particular person talent competitiveness followed. The Awards Ceremony and Crowning the new Condition King and Queen concluded the day’s activities.
Grant Bubela of Lodge 30 was awarded the District 6 Advantage Grant Scholarship.
Grant Bubela and Bethany Baker had been awarded Leading Teen for Benefit Points.
Numerous members from Lodge 30 Taiton and Lodge 40 El Campo-Hillje participated in the craft competition.
