Swatty Float this Saturday: Appear Sign up for the Entertaining!

How do you major off the conclude of summer?  With a float down the Swatty!  The Swatara Police Division is web hosting our 3rd Yearly Swatty Float this Saturday 8/20/22 from 11am to 1pm at McNaughton Park in Swatara Township.  This event is open to all and there is no registration needed.  We are inquiring individuals to park at McNaughton Park which can be accessed off of SR0322 eastbound at the entrance to the Swatara Twp. Authority elaborate.  Once you pull into the intricate just stick to the driveway down to the parking region at McNaughton Park.  From there, we will give transportation for you and your loved ones along with any floatation products, kayaks etcetera. to Schiavoni Park.  When at Schiavoni Park we will assist you with dropping into the Swatara Creek and deliver you on your way!  With the the latest h2o level, the float will take approximately 45-60 minutes to total (Schiavoni Park to McNaughton Park).  After you get there at McNaughton Park we will have officers stationed at the exit position to assist with receiving you and your spouse and children users out of the creek and properly back to dry land.  We will be offering very hot puppies, treats and drinks to everyone at McNaughton Park after they have accomplished their float.  Appear fulfill our officers in what will absolutely be a wonderful time outdoors together the Swatara Creek.  Harrisburg River Rescue and Swatara Law enforcement will be current on the creek to be certain a secure party.  If you have any inquiries about the Swatty Float please contact Cpl.
