The Supreme Court Tuesday denied an emergency ask for asking for a pause to the federal COVID-19 airline mask mandate. 

The emergency software was trying to get to stop the Transportation Protection Administration (TSA) federal mask mandate for individuals in airports, onboard commercial plane, on above-the-street buses and on commuter bus and rail programs.

The coronavirus mask mandate is in put right up until at minimum March 18, 2022.

The situation was filed by Florida father Michael Seklecki and his 4-year-outdated son who is autistic who can’t tolerate sporting masks but need to fly to Boston Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts for normal clinical care.

The other plaintiff in the case is Lucas Wall, a Washington D.C. resident who, according to court docket paperwork, is “stranded at his mother’s residence in The Villages, Florida, due to the fact TSA banned him from boarding a flight out of Orlando Worldwide Airport on June 2, 2021, entirely because he simply cannot wear a facial area mask thanks to his Generalized Anxiousness Condition.”

The court docket did not offer remark about the denial in orders that came out Tuesday.

The denial will come after the courtroom lately ruled versus President Biden’s vaccine mandate on personal employers but held in place a mandate for healthcare employees.
