In commemoration of Jamaica’s 60th year of Independence, the Consul General of Jamaica in New York celebrated the occasion with a Jamaica 60 Diamond Jubilee Gala recently at the city’s Marriott Marquis, honouring Monty Alexander, Dr Sandra Lindsay and others.
