The 1st stage survey of reptiles in the Munnar wild lifetime division that consists of six safeguarded forest areas have been done. Even nevertheless different surveys have been carried out at every sector, it is for the very first time that survey of reptiles is done at Iravikulam, Pambadum Sholai, Anamudi Sholai and Mathikettan Shola countrywide parks and Chinnar and Kurinjimala wild lifetime sanctuaries that are element of the Munnar wild daily life division.

Around fifteen instructional institutes such as Kerala Forest Investigation Institute and Forestry College and several GOOs like Malabar Nature Background Society Soochimugham, MTI and NGI took part in the study, carried out jointly by the Kerala Wild Existence Office and Aranyakam Nature Foundation from July 20 to 24. Moreover, around 95 volunteers as well, ended up aspect of the survey.
