LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) –An iconic Lafayette restaurant has shut its doorways following 50 years in small business.
Randol’s on Kaliste Saloom Street opened at its standard time and then closed its doors for the last time at the conclude of organization Saturday.
“We weren’t anticipating it so quickly, but very last night was our past night of two steppin’, toe tappin’ fun,” the cafe introduced in a social media article.
The longtime cafe, on Lafayette’s Southside, was regularly by generations of community families and was a beloved between tourist for its crawfish and crabs.
Stay tunes usually followed and all people hit the dance ground for some two-stepping.
