A social media risk has prompted a lockdown at Eli Whitney Tech in Hamden on Monday.

Connecticut Point out Police stated troopers were being informed by a mum or dad of a university student that they experienced seen a social media risk believed to be relevant to Eli Whitney Tech all over 9:45 a.m.

The university principal was contacted and a lockdown was initiated at the university.
