ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Just one million pounds will be used to produce supportive methods for these encountering homelessness inside of Washtenaw County many thanks to Saint Joseph Mercy Wellness Program.

On Thursday, the clinic system announced its monetary motivation in honor of healthcare advocate and Washtenaw Housing Alliance board member Sister Yvonne and of Garry C. Faja, the first president and CEO of St. Joseph Mercy.

The pledged income will be utilised to address fundamental issues of homelessness, which include mental health care, employment schooling and material abuse counseling.

Cash, provided by means of the Sr. Yvonne Gellise Endowment Fund for Lasting Supportive Housing Products and services (SYG Fund), will go to partnering companies collaborating with Washtenaw Housing Alliance.
