WASHINGTON (AP) — Roland Mesnier, who established often-magical desserts for five presidents and their attendees as White Household executive pastry chef, has died at age 78.
His loss of life was verified Saturday by the White Dwelling Historical Association, which reported he died Friday pursuing a shorter ailment.
A person of the longest-serving White Property cooks, Mesnier was employed in 1979 by first girl Rosalynn Carter and retired through the George W. Bush administration.

In 1967, he grew to become a pastry chef at a lodge in Bermuda and although living on the island met his future wife, a vacationing schoolteacher from West Virginia.
