Construction has kicked off on the upcoming phase of the Rockwall Technological innovation Park, a light-weight industrial company park in close proximity to Interstate 30 in Rockwall.
The Rockwall Financial Enhancement Corp. has broken floor on the third stage of the venture, which involves 210 acres for new enterprises.
The 1st stage of the small business park located north of State Highway 276 opened in 2000.
Far more than 20 buildings with just about 3 million sq. toes of space have been concluded or prepared in the challenge, which residences 21 businesses. About 2,900 persons presently function in the enhancement.
“We know there are several providers out there, in a lot of different areas and industries, that will inevitably advantage from this challenge,” Rockwall Financial Improvement president Phil Wagner said in a statement.
Freese & Nichols is the engineering style and design firm and development manager for the venture, and Mario Sinacola & Sons Excavating is the common contractor.
Existing design at the Rockwall Technologies Park is scheduled for completion late upcoming calendar year.
The small business park has an approximated price of $370 million.
The industrial internet sites are remaining promoted to brands and distributors. Companies now found in the park involve Pratt Industries, SPR Packaging, Karat by Lollicup and Specific Goods and Producing Inc.
