She usually imagined she was a little bit various from her good friends when it came to the “types” of adult males they appreciated, and when a wild, shirtless farm boy in overalls arrived strolling up to her that night she realized it was correct!
As Dallas explains. “While chatting to all the girls just before our early morning songwriting session, I told them about a nuts weekend I had on the highway a several months previously and about a guy I ran into. I recall declaring ‘I really don’t know why I was so captivated to him and why I simply cannot fail to remember that weekend’ ” . She provides that the entertaining tune was “born when I realised I wanted to embrace that section of me and my Kentucky roots”.
“Seeing how ‘ White Trash Heart’ is connecting with folks is fantastic. This track comes from a actual place, and we hope the earth enjoys it as significantly as we did when we wrote it” noted co-writer Nancy, while Lauren describes the release as a “blue collar anthem for the girls… Dallas is fearless about possessing specifically who she is and turned a punchline into a factor of delight with this song”.
