Here’s an  update from Shoreline Place Information on the church that experienced planned to occupy the previous Relatives Exciting Heart in Edmonds, which caught hearth Dec. 8.

In 2014, Bethany Community Church North established up a congregation in Shoreline. They obtained a setting up on Aurora Avenue, which experienced previously housed a strip club, and wholly refurbished it into a bright and ethereal space. They referred to as it The Junction and leased the front to a coffee shop. They reserved the again of the making for church places of work.

They held solutions at nearby Shorewood Higher University and later at the Shoreline Auditorium, building their congregation.

In current many years, they situated and obtained a setting up in Edmonds, the former Spouse and children Fun Middle around Freeway 99 at 220th Street Southwest, and entirely reworked it. It was completed this month.

Senior Pastor Scott Sund claimed they were being set to keep Xmas Eve providers in their new developing.

A passerby referred to as 911 at 1:55 a.m. Dec. 8 to report black smoke and flames coming from the setting up. Finally 50 firefighters would be on the scene with Shoreline Fireplace assisting South County Fire.

Owing to excessive warmth and minimal visibility from heavy smoke within the construction, crews in the beginning had to attack from outside the house to knock down the bulk of the hearth. It took about 90 minutes for firefighters to get the hearth under handle.

The building, in accordance to Pastor Sund, was “rendered fully useless.” He is grateful that no 1 was hurt.

The result in of the hearth was accidental, in accordance to South County Fire. Sund explained it was an electrical fireplace.

Bethany North will be having Xmas Eve and weekly providers at Shoreline Auditorium until a further house opens up.
