‘Que Marks the Location: Ayden unveils new promoting marketing campaign | Area News

AYDEN — The town’s Branding Committee has absent complete hog with a barbecue theme to aid Ayden’s advertising initiatives.

Committee users unveiled a proposed campaign for the town all through the Dec. 13 Board of Commissioners conference. Gwendolyn Yiznitsky, operator of Gwendy’s Goodies, and Holly Akin, government director of the Ayden Chamber of Commerce, led the presentation.

Yiznitsky unveiled the identify of the campaign is “’Que Marks the Location.” The committee consulted with Ayden people, company proprietors and Michael Rudd, a community conversation specialist and professor at the East Carolina University, to formulate the plan.

“It begun with us surveying the local community and obtaining individuals to convey to us what they imagined about Ayden and what they liked about Ayden,” Yiznitsky explained. “We gathered that barbecue is our roots and we have a lot of matters to be genuinely happy of.
